Mobile Deployment Guide

Deploy to App Stores

Steps to launch Prime Athlete AI on iOS and Android

Current Status: Web App Ready

Your application is fully functional as a web app and is mobile-responsive. To deploy to app stores, you need to wrap it with native capabilities using Capacitor.

Recommended Approach: Capacitor by Ionic

Why Capacitor?

  • Wraps your existing web app (no rewrite needed)
  • Deploy to iOS and Android from single codebase
  • Access native device features (camera, notifications, etc.)
  • Better performance than traditional hybrid apps

Setup Steps

  1. 1
    Install Capacitor
    npm install @capacitor/core @capacitor/cli
  2. 2
    Initialize Capacitor
npx cap init "Prime Athlete AI" "com.primeathleteai.app"
  3. 3
    Add iOS Platform
    npm install @capacitor/ios
    npx cap add ios
  4. 4
    Add Android Platform
    npm install @capacitor/android
    npx cap add android
  5. 5
    Open in Native IDEs
npx cap open ios # Opens in Xcode
npx cap open android # Opens in Android Studio

Alternative: Hire a Developer

If you're not technical, consider hiring a mobile developer who can:

  • Set up Capacitor and wrap your web app
  • Handle app store submissions and requirements
  • Create required assets (icons, screenshots, etc.)
  • Configure native features (camera access, push notifications)

Estimated cost: $2,000 - $5,000 for basic setup and submission
